The 2024-25 FAFSA opened with a soft launch in December 2023. During the soft launch, the FAFSA form will be available for short periods of time while Federal Student Aid monitors site performance and form functionality. To receive the best financial aid offer, complete the FAFSA as early as possible. At UF, the 2024-25 FAFSA provides information on your aid eligibility for fall 2024, spring 2025, and summer 2025.

In order for UF Student Financial Aid and Scholarships to consider you for a financial aid package, you must be a degree-seeking, admitted student. Due to federal regulations, you can only use financial aid for classes that count toward your declared degree or certificate program.
