    UF Academic Programs

Academic scholarships are available through departments and offices other than SFA and through individual colleges and schools within the university. For instance, the UF Admissions Office awards academic scholarships to qualified incoming freshmen and transfer students, the Office of Overseas Studies administers financial assistance to enrolled students matriculating abroad, and the Division of Student Affairs offers a number of merit-based scholarships and awards.

Please keep in mind that if you apply for aid through SFA, SFA takes your academic achievement scholarship awards (including tuition fee waivers and reductions) into consideration, and counts them as part of your official aid package.

    Office of Admissions

The Office of Admissions awards academic scholarships to incoming freshmen and transfer students, based on academic ability and achievement. To be considered, students must have a complete admission application (application, high school transcript, test scores, application fee, and two essays) on file with the Office of Admissions by the deadline.
