Entering freshman with financial need who graduated from one of the following: East Ridge High School, Eustis High School, Leesburg High School, Mount Dora High School, South Lake High School, Tavares High School or Umatilla High School. If no eligible recipients, scholarship may be awarded to an entering freshman with financial need from a Lake County high school (first preference) or from a Florida high school outside of Lake County (second preference).
Selection of recipients includes special preference to students identified as exceptional education students with any of the following conditions: specific learning disabled, emotionally handicapped, physically impaired, deaf and/or hard of hearing, visually impaired, or gifted. Secondary preference to students intending to major in education or agriculture.
