We are a group of people who work with our many strengths to empower people, a value we all share. With qualifications and interests in strategizing, storytelling, designing and writing to name a few, we recognize that working together creatively is when things really take shape.<\/p>\n<p>We believe that with the correct tools anyone can reach their aspirations and use their skills to empower others. Every year, Responsify awards a scholarship to those that present an inspiring example of empowerment in their essays.<\/p>\n<p>Current students will be tailoring their talents, getting ready to apply them in their lives and in their careers and we\u2019re excited to contribute to this exciting journey with a scholarship. Our scholarship will be awarded to a\u00a0student who can demonstrate how their major can be used to empower others in a self-reflective essay.<\/p>\n<h3>Scholarship Amount<\/h3>\n<p>$1,000<\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>All applicants must be enrolled, or due to be enrolled, as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited US college or university for the semester that they are applying to receive the scholarship.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants are not required to have a minimum GPA.<\/li>\n<li>Domestic, international, online and undocumented students may apply<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Required Application Details<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Please write a 800 to 1,000 word essay answering the following questions:\n<ul>\n<li>Why is empowering others so important?<\/li>\n<li>How do you think your major can be used to empower others?<\/li>\n<li>When was the last time you felt empowered? What inspired this?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Please provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university. Please submit as .pdf or .doc<\/li>\n<li>Confirmation and acceptance of terms and conditions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Application Deadline<\/h3>\n<p>All applications must be submitted by <b>October 5, Annually.<\/b> A winner will be selected and notified by October 20, Annually.<\/p>\n<h3>Additional Scholarship Details<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The winning candidate will be selected by a panel of judges from Responsify.<\/li>\n<li>The scholarship is available on a yearly basis and is non-renewable.<\/li>\n<li>Any questions about The Responsify Empowering Others Scholarship can be directed to scholarship@responsify.com.<\/li>\n<li>The scholarship funds provided by Responsify will be sent via check to the college or university. Funds are to be applied to qualified college expenses (including tuition, fees, books, and on-campus room and board) for the current academic year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Privacy Policy and Terms<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Privacy Policy <\/strong><br \/>\nWhen you send email communications to Responsify, and\/or its representatives may retain those communications in order to process or respond to your inquiries or application as related to the scholarship. Responsify and its representatives will not knowingly sell, share, rent or otherwise transfer your information other than in accordance with the terms set forth in this Privacy Policy.<\/p>\n<p>All\u00a0information relating to all applicants is destroyed as soon as a winner is announced.<\/p>\n<p>Applicant emails will not be used for any marketing purposes.<\/p>\n<p>All submitted photos and essays must be original work of the applicant. Only one submission may be entered per student, per year. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. All scholarships are non-renewable.
