The Fisher School of Accounting administers a number of awards and fellowships each year and nominates students for a variety of externally administered awards. Fellowships are generally awarded to students who intend to enter or have already entered the master’s program. The amounts, number, and source awards vary annually. Academic performance, particularly in upper-division accounting coursework, is emphasized in selecting recipients. Generally, 20 to 40 $2,000 to $3,000 awards are made. A complete list of awards is maintained in the Fisher School of Accounting office (GER 210). To be considered for nomination for externally administered awards, students should complete and submit an Application for Accounting Awards, available at 210 Gerson Hall in late fall and early spring. The submission deadline is generally February 1. Announcements of recipients and nominees generally are made in April.
