Limited scholarships are available to individuals enrolled in the DMD program. Availability of funds, financial need, and/or merit will be considered when awarding scholarships.

Completion of the UFCD Need-Based Scholarship Application is required; students are also required to have a FAFSA on file with parent financial information included. Incoming and current DMD students will be advised when the scholarship application is available as well as the application deadline date. Interested DMD students may view the UFCD Scholarship FAQ website for more information on the application process.

Financial aid in the college is divided among the School of Architecture, the School of Building Construction, and the programs in Interior Design and Landscape Architecture. Urban and Regional Planning are graduate programs.

Every fall the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) awards approximately fifteen, one-semester dissertation fellowships to deserving graduate students whose projects are judged by the selection committee to be highly meritorious. Successful applicants receive a stipend and paid tuition during the following spring or summer semester.

Graduate Aid Policy
The College of Pharmacy’s policy is that each graduate student receives support from outside fellowships or university graduate assistantships. Stipends range from $14,000 to $20,000 (stipends up to $20,000 are available for the exceptionally qualified). Students who receive teaching assistantships are required to teach for up to 13.3 hours per week.

The College of Engineering offers approximately 750 research and teaching assistantships requiring one-fourth to three-quarter-to, workloads with $150 to $500 every two weeks.
