    Check Cashing/Local Banking

Checks should be made out to the University of Florida and include the students name, SSN, and local address and phone number. Checks should be mailed to UFS, P.O. Box 114050 Gainesville, Fl 32611-4050.

    Checking/Savings Accounts

For convenience, you may want to open a local checking or savings account or an account with a bank which participates in the Honor or Exchange Systems (computerized networks of banks, other financial institutions, and businesses which allow you to make deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions from automatic tellers at participating businesses).

    Automatic Tellers

Automatic tellers are available on the ground floor of the Reitz Union for: Sun Trust, Wachovia, Bank of America, and Campus USA Credit Union. Bank of America and Wachovia also have automatic tellers located on campus, which can be found in front of the HUB and at Gator Dining Corner. Students who participate in the Honor or Exchange systems may also use these machines.
