The University of Florida ensures the confidentiality of student records in accordance with State University System rules, state statutes, and the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 - Buckley Amendment. Your family financial information and the type and amount of your aid are held in confidence. Iinformation is released only with your written consent.

Under Florida law, email addresses are public records. If you do not want your email address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to the University. Instead, contact the specific office or individual by phone or in writing.
