    Address Policy

    Keep your address up to date with the University Directory each time you change your address to avoid unnecessary delays in receiving checks and correspondence. UF maintains a University Directory which is used for mailing all official documents. SFA and University Financial Services mails all financial aid checks and correspondence to addresses listed in the University directory. Students are responsible for keeping their current and local addresses up-to-date with the University at all times.

    Use ISIS to Keep Your Address Up to Date with the University Directory
    Make sure you get your UF mail. Keep your local and permanent addresses up to date. To change your address choose one of the following:

    Check Financial Aid Status/Disbursement Info

    You are responsible for keeping track of your financial aid file, before and after you receive your award notice. Get the status of your aid file, documents still needed, and your deferment and disbursement status on ISIS. Under "Financial Aid" for the correct award year, choose from Aid Status, Awards and Disbursements, and Additional Aid Reporting.

    Keep Your Address Up to Date with the Federal Processor

    If your address changes during the year, update it with the the federal processor. They use it to mail Student Aid Reports, electronic PINs, etc. The U.S. Department of Education does not permit PINs to be forwarded.

    Complete Student Loan Requirements

    To receive Federal Direct Stafford of PLUS Loans, you must complete all loan disbursement requirements through ISIS, including:

    1. Accept your loans(s) under "Awards and Disbursements"
    2. Complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) -- if needed -- by following prompts under "Aid Status". You can also complete an MPN by going directly to the federal site.
    3. Complete Direct Loan Entrance Counseling if you are a first-time borrower (see below).
    Student Loan Entrance and Exit Counseling (Direct and Perkins Loans)

    To complete entrance counseling for Federal Direct Loans, go to www.dl.ed.gov.

    First-time Perkins Loan borrowers will receive information from University Financial Services about completing online Entrance Counseling.

    Perkins Loan Acceptance

    If you are awarded a Federal Perkins Loan, before you can receive the loan you must accept the loan on ISIS. On ISIS under "Financial Services," choose "Perkins Loan Disclosure/Confirmation."

    Direct Deposit Sign-Up

    To have your financial aid deposited directly into your checking account, go to ISIS: choose "Financial Services," then "EFT Sign-Up."
