The College of Pharmacy's policy is that each graduate student receives support from outside fellowships or university graduate assistantships. Stipends range from $14,000 to $20,000 (stipends up to $20,000 are available for the exceptionally qualified). Students who receive teaching assistantships are required to teach for up to 13.3 hours per week.

Eligibility: current pharmacy students; based on academic performance.

Eligibility: recognizes excellence in searching, evaluating and applying evidence in clinical decision making and quality improvement. The awardee has demonstrated advanced skills in the critical appraisal of published pharmaceutical literature. In addition, he or she has analyzed evidence on quality deficits and the effectiveness of quality improvement interventions and has successfully developed a quality improvement program with great promise to improve patient care.
