Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships
The following endowed scholarships and fellowships are administered by the UF Foundation. For information, check with the departmental contact person or the Foundation Web site.
- A. H. Krezdorn Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: students in horticultural sciences majoring in fruit crops Value: varies - Harry R. Manee, Sr., Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: students with majors involving the Florida vegetable industry; based on scholarship, leadership, and character. Value: $1,000 - Charles M. Palmer and Thelma Palmer Scholarship
Eligibility: horticulture sciences or environmental horticulture majors; preference for students from Polk County majoring in turfgrass.
Value: varies - Muriel Rumsey Foundation Endowment
Eligibility: students pursuing studies in horticultural sciences.
Value: varies - James Soule Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: undergraduate and graduate student fruit crops majors in the department.
Value: $500 - Southwest Florida Vegetable Growers Fund
Eligibility: full-time agribusiness and agricultural production or agricultural sciences students who plan to pursue vegetable production careers; must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, preferably from southwest Florida; academic merit and professional potential.
Value: $1,000

Eligibility: academic record.
