UF Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships
The following endowed scholarships and fellowships are administered by the UF Foundation. For information, check with the departmental contact person or the Foundation Web site.
- Bridgett Bernadette Phillips Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: history majors; based on merit, need, and/or interest in traveling as a means to further one's education; requires minimum 3.5 GPA and at least 12 hours of history courses; must submit an essay and letters of recommendation.
Value: $1,500, awarded annually
Non-Endowed Scholarships
- Daniel L. Koleos Undergraduate Scholarship
Contact: Department chair, 25 Keene-Flint Hall
Eligibility: undergraduates majoring in history who wish to write a senior thesis; must submit resume, formal thesis sample essay and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member.
Value: $1,000, awarded annually - President’s Scholarship
Eligibility: outstanding history majors in Latin American history, by recommendation only.
