UF Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships
The following endowed scholarships and fellowships are administered by the UF Foundation. For information, check with the departmental contact person or the Foundation Web site.
- Henry Bauch Scholarships
Eligibility: juniors or seniors majoring in engineering; academic achievement and financial need.
Value: $1,000; may vary, multiple awards. - Robert A. Bryan Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: electrical or materials engineering undergraduates; based on merit.
Value: $1,000 - Wayne H. Chen Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: juniors or seniors in engineering; based primarily on academic achievement and leadership; financial need is considered.
Value: $1,000 - John W. and Mittie Collins Engineering Scholarship and Fellowship Fund
Eligibility: students in the college.
Value: $1,000 - Co-op Student Assistance Endowed Fund
Eligibility: undergraduates who have demonstrated financial need, have been accepted to the College of Engineering co-op program and are not a member of a social fraternity; award to help in paying fees and purchasing books and supplies.
Value: $1,000, toward fees, books, and supplies - Cunningham Scholarship Endowment
Eligibility: undergraduate engineering students with demonstrated financial need.
Value: $1,250 - Philip D. and Mary Ann Estridge Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: U.S. citizens with a strong liberal arts background, preferably with an interest in music, literature, and drama (interests of the Estridges); recipients chosen by the dean of the College; selection based on academic achievement and financial need.
Value: $1,000 - Guy C. Fulton Scholarship in Engineering Fund
Eligibility: second-year undergraduates planning to major in engineering; awarded at the end of the second year.
Value: $1,000 - Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Godron Engineering Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: engineering majors; academic achievement and financial need.
Value: $1,000 - Inez Culp Goodrum Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: students in the college who demonstrate financial need and are U.S. citizens.
Value: $1,000 - Thomas O. Hunter Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: undergraduate and entering students; emphasis is given to those with demonstrated leadership, economic need, and academic excellence; preference is given to graduates of Putnam County high schools.
Value: $1,000 - Lockheed Martin Student Support Program Fund
Eligibility: engineering undergraduates.
Value: $1,000 - Matthew Martin Memolo Memorial Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: outstanding juniors or seniors in electrical and computer engineering who are U.S. citizens.
Value: varies - P. M. Pope Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: juniors or seniors in the college; academic achievement and financial need.
Value: $1,000 - C. Addison Pound, Jr. & Annie Cannon Pound, Fund in Engineering
Eligibility: engineering students; based on standardized test scores (as applicable), GPA, academic and other accomplishments, leadership and related activities, experience (such as employment and military service), students' area of interest, economic need, creative ability, and student's ability to successfully complete all scholastic requirements.

Eligibility: applicants should contact the Florida Engineering Society in the fall to apply for this tuition scholarship; juniors in engineering.

Eligibility: engineering juniors or seniors; U.S. citizenship and Florida residency; academic achievement; financial need.

Eligibility: high school seniors, who have actively participated in a SECME program, plan to study engineering, and are in the top ten percent of their graduating class.
