UF Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships
The following endowed scholarships and fellowships are administered by the UF Foundation. For information, check with the departmental contact person or the Foundation Web site.
- J. B. Adkins Memorial Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: students enrolled or planning to
enroll in SFRC; must have been registered at
UF for at least 30 semester hours and
demonstrated ability to do college work.
Value: $1,000 - Fred W. and Mabel H. Barber Scholarship
Eligibility: students enrolled in SFRC.
Value: $1,000 - Louis F. Conde Memorial Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: students enrolled in SFRC who have demonstrated a keen interest in the study and conservation of native plants.
Value: $1,000 - William and Else Jennings Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: students enrolled in SFRC.

La Fontaine Fellowship Endowment Fund
Eligibility: students enrolled in SFRC. - Newins and Ziegler Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: SFRC students with 110 semester hours towards a bachelor's degree in good academic standing who have demonstrated leadership ability.
Value: at least $1,000 - Leigh A. Walker Memorial Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: dedicated, enthusiastic forestry
students who have a breadth of interests.

- Charles Andregg Memorial Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: meritorious undergraduates in surveying and mapping.

Eligibility: new SFRC students; minimum 3.0 GPA and professional potential as indicated by career objectives, work experience, and references.

Eligibility: students enrolled in the geomatics program.
Value: varies - ITT Rayonier Foundation Senior Scholarship
Eligibility: upcoming seniors in SFRC; leadership, scholarship, and need.
Value: $2,000 - Carl E. Johnson Memorial Fund
Eligibility: upper-division students from Lee, Hendry, Collier, or Charlotte counties, in a land surveying program.
Value: varies - Jim and Joh Lybass Forest Landowners Scholarship(s)
Eligibility: incoming SFRC undergraduates; minimum 3.0 GPA in high school; pre-professional study, private forest landowner interest; professional potential.
Value: $1,000 - Society of American Foresters, Florida Division, Senior Student Scholarship
Eligibility: rising SFRC seniors; participation in SAF Student Chapter, academics, and professional potential.
