UF Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships
The following endowed scholarships and fellowships are administered by the UF Foundation. For information, check with the departmental contact person or the Foundation Web site.
- Florida Environmental Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: Florida high school graduates and Florida residents who are environmental engineering sciences undergraduates; based on need and scholarship.
Deadline: October 20
Value: $3,000
Non-Endowed Scholarships
- CDM Scholarship
Eligibility: undergraduate students
Deadline: November
Value: two $1,000 scholarship for undergraduates (for service to EES department, College of Engineering and Community) - Engineering Undergraduate Scholarships
Eligibility: scholarships are awarded by the College of Engineering; a ranked list of candidates is forwarded to Dr. Jonathan Earle, Associate Dean. Environmental Alumni Scholarship and Poekert Award
Eligibility: undergraduate students; service to the Department or College for the Poekert Award.
Value: two awards; about $500 each - Priede Excellence
Eligibility: undergraduate or graduate students with excellent performance. Value: one undergraduate, one graduate award; approximately $6,000 each - Progress Energy scholarship
Eligibility: undergraduate student entering junior year. The scholarship will be used for tuition, books and other appropriate expenses.
