UF Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships
The following endowed scholarships and fellowships are administered by the UF Foundation. For information, check with the departmental contact person or the Foundation Web site.
- Carl E. Beeman Scholarship and Student Enrichment Fund
Eligibility: students in agricultural education and communication; based on academic achievement, leadership activities, and professional potential.
Value: $800 - Bishop Brothers Scholarship and Student Enrichment Fund
Eligibility: students in agricultural education and communication; based on academic achievement, leadership activities, and professional potential.
Value: $1,000 - Omar Ergle Floyd Philmon Scholarship and Student Enrichment Fund
Eligibility: undergraduate students in agricultural education and communication; academic achievement, leadership, and professional potential.
Value: $1,000 - Hinton Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: students in any option in agricultural education and communication; scholarship, leadership, and professional potential.
Value: $1,000 - W. T. Loften Scholarship
Eligibility: students in agricultural education and communication; based on scholarship, leadership, and professional potential.
Value: $900 - Ryan Rimmer Memorial Scholarship and Student Enrichment Fund
Eligibility: students in agricultural education and communication; academic achievement, leadership, and professional potential.
Value: $1,000 - Marion C. Roche Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: incoming or currently enrolled students in the teacher education specialty who have demonstrated scholarship, leadership, and professional potential in the agricultural education and communication; preference to students from Marion County.
Value: $1,000, three awards - John and Ethel Stephens Scholarship
Eligibility: students in any option in agricultural education and communication; scholarship, leadership, and professional potential; preference to students from Sumter County.

Eligibility: agricultural communication option students who demonstrate outstanding scholarship and leadership.
Value: $500, two awards - Florida Association of Agricultural Educators (FAAE) Outstanding Junior
Eligibility: agricultural education option juniors; scholarship, leadership, and financial need.
Value: $300 - Florida Association of Agricultural Educators (FAAE) Outstanding Senior
Eligibility: agricultural education option seniors; scholarship and leadership.
Value: plaque and first year's professional dues - Max B. McGhee Scholarship
Eligibility: students pursuing a program option in agricultural education and communication; demonstrated outstanding leadership, scholarship, and professional potential; essay based on a topic chosen by the scholarship selection committee.
Value: $1,000 - Erin Best Scholarship
Eligibility: undergraduates in the agricultural communication option; scholarship, leadership, professional potential, and financial need.
Value: $300 - D. A. Storms Scholarship
Eligibility: incoming or enrolled departmental juniors in teacher education option; scholarship, leadership, and professional potential; preference for Hillsborough County students.
Value: $500 - J. F. Williams Memorial Scholarship Awarded by FAAE and Florida FFA Foundation.
Eligibility: graduating seniors who plan to teach agriculture in Florida; financial need, scholarship, and professional potential.
Value: $500, two awards - H. E. Wood Scholarship Awarded by Florida FFA Foundation.
Eligibility: graduating agricultural education and communication seniors who plan to teach agriculture in Florida.
