UF Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships
The following endowed scholarships and fellowships are administered by the UF Foundation. For information, check with the departmental contact person or the Foundation Web site.
- Bill and Patti Alcorn Scholarship Endowment
Eligibility: junior college transfer students enrolled in the college who are interested in pursuing a career in the retail profession or are majors enrolled in the Fisher School of Accounting.
Value: varies - Stanley S. Barchan, Jr., Memorial Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: undergraduates in the college. Value: monies for tuition, fees, board, room, books, and classroom equipment; three scholarships per year - Buddy Bishop Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: business students with an interest in the telephone industry including marketing, preferably with a parent who works for Alltel Corp.; based on academics or need for students studying abroad for the semester.
Value: $750 - Wilson O. Boozer, Sr., Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: business students; preference given to finance majors who plan to pursue a commercial banking career and who are studying abroad for the semester. Value: $400 - Matthew P. Brunson Memorial Scholarship Fund

Mr. and Mrs. George W. Etheridge, Jr., Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: full-time business students
with a 3.25 GPA minimum who have
completed at least 24 credit hours of UF
undergraduate coursework; outstanding
academic accomplishment; dedication to
serving UF and/or the Gainesville
community; leadership in community
endeavors; outstanding communication
and interpersonal skills; and demonstrated
financial need; must have a fall and spring
semester of undergraduate coursework

Eligibility: students who are studying abroad for the semester preferably students from several counties in Florida, primarily in the panhandle; Need may be considered.

Addam Kellough Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: students displaying academic excellence and financial need.
Value: $750 - Ponsoldt Family Educational Endowment
Eligibility: business students; preference to those who have suffered temporary financial setback (e.g. September 11, death of parent, hurricane or other natural disaster) that has left the student in a state of financial need (scholarship is not, however, a need based scholarship as determined by Student Financial Affairs); recipient must come from the geographical area between Fort Pierce and Miami, on the east coast of Florida, including but not limited to Martin, St. Lucie, Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade counties.

- Todd C. Prosser Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: worthy undergraduate or graduate students; preference to students graduating from high schools in Marion County (first), Alachua County (second) and Lake County (third); if no possible recipients from these three counties, preference is given to any student who graduated from a Florida high school.
