UF Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships
The following endowed scholarships and fellowships are administered by the
UF Foundation. For information, check with the departmental contact person
or the Foundation Web site.
- John B. Boy/U.S. Sugar in Agricultural Engineering Fund
Eligibility: agricultural and biological engineering juniors who are U.S. citizens and Florida residents; renewable for seniors who maintain at least a 2.6 GPA; award based on academic achievement.
Value: $1,000 per semester renewable for two years; cooperative employment available - Florida Section ASABE (American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers) Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: agricultural and biological engineering or agricultural operations management majors; based on scholarship, financial need and professional potential.
Value: $500, may vary; several awards - Bob and Virginia Peart Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: agricultural operations management majors; scholarship and professional potential.
Value: $1,000 - Allen G. Smajstrla Scholarship
Eligibility: students in agriculture and biological engineering or agriculture operations management interested in water resources.
