- Army Reserve Officer Training Corps
(ROTC) Scholarships
Eligibility: full-time students pursuing a commission in the U.S. Army; must be U.S. citizens age 17-27; 920 SAT or 19 ACT; merit (GPA 2.5 or above) and leadership potential; all academic disciplines; four-year scholarship awarded to high school seniors and UF engineering freshmen; two- and three-year scholarships awarded to qualified college sophomores and freshmen.
Value: full tuition or room and board, lab fees, $1,200 each year for books, and $300 - $500 monthly allowance depending on academic year. - Army Leader's Training Course Scholarships
Eligibility: qualified students with minimum 2.5 GPA; based on performance at 28-day paid summer camp at Ft. Knox, Kentucky; have two years remaining before graduation; open to graduating seniors who will be attending graduate school.
Value: full tuition or room and board, lab fees, $600 each semester for books, and up to $500 monthly allowance. New $5,000 contracting bonus given to UF students who complete the LTC course and sign with UF Army ROTC to pursue an Army Commission. - Army Nursing Scholarship Program
Eligibility: students enrolled (or planning to enroll) in a degree program leading to a Bachelor of Science in nursing; available for two, three, and four-year scholarships.
Value: full tuition of room and board, lab fees, $600 each semester for books, and up to $500 monthly spending allowance - Simultaneous Membership Program
Eligibility: students in Army ROTC advanced course program; members of the Army Reserve or a National Guard Unit.
Value: minimum rate of Sergeant (E-5) for drill periods and annual training dates, plus up to $500 a month for advanced cadets; also, 100% tuition - Army Advanced Course Monthly
Allowance
Eligibility: qualified students in advanced military science courses.
Value: Junior $450/ Senior $500 per month in academic year
