UF Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships
The following endowed scholarships and fellowships are administered by the UF Foundation. For information, check with the departmental contact person or the Foundation Web site.
- A. C. Asbury, D.V.M. Equine Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: undergraduates most likely to excel in the art and science of equine practice; selectee is expected to demonstrate exceptional horsemanship, excellent interpersonal communication skills, an understanding and appreciation for practical approaches to clinical problem solving, and a genuine interest in promoting the broad spectrum of equine health.

Eligibility: students enrolled in dairy science courses.

- Susan Brown Memorial/Florida Beefmasters Breeders Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: freshmen and sophomores who demonstrate professional promise, leadership, scholarship and excellence in 4-H, FFA or breed association activities.
Value: $1,000 per year; renewable up to four years with a 2.5 GPA
- Gwen and Tony J. Cunha Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: students who exhibit scholarship, leadership and professional promise.

Eligibility: undergraduate Florida residents with financial need; requires enrollment in the Dairy Science Program and a minimum B average.

- C. W. Reaves 4-H Dairy Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: students who plan to study dairy science; freshmen must have achieved an acceptable senior placement test score and high school GPA; upperclassmen must have an acceptable college GPA; must be former members of the 4-H Dairy Club and enrolled in Dairy Science at UF.

- American Culinary Federation Scholarship
Eligibility: students in the safety and processing of meat option in animal sciences; should be from Southern Florida, preferably Collier County.

Eligibility: animal sciences students; scholarship, leadership, and interest in the meat industry.
Value: $500 (one-year award) - Jim Flannigan Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: animal sciences majors, interest and professional promise in the beef industry.

Eligibility: animal sciences majors, leadership, and professional promise in the beef industry.

Eligibility: animal sciences majors in the equine sciences program, scholarship, leadership, and professional promise.
