UF Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships
The following endowed scholarships and fellowships are administered by the UF Foundation. For information, check with the departmental contact person or the Foundation Web site.
- Cox Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: junior or senior cadets demonstrating great leadership skills; recipients are selected by the commander of the Air Force ROTC unit.
Deadline: January 31 of sophomore year
Value: $1,000 - Crown Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: undergraduates in Air Force ROTC Professional Officer's Course at UF.
Deadline: January 31, sophomore year
Value: $1,000, four awards
Non-Endowed Scholarships
- Air Force ROTC Scholarships for High School Seniors
Eligibility: high school seniors in any academic major who are interested in pursuing a commission as an Air Force officer; apply at www.afrotc.com
Deadline: Dec. 1, high school senior year Value: four- and three-year awards, pay up to full tuition, textbook allowance, fees, $900/year textbook allowance, and up to $500 per month tax-free allowance during the academic year
Air Force ROTC In-College Scholarships
Eligibility: Competitive scholarships for students in all academic majors who have two years remaining before graduation. Must be interested in pursuing a commission as an officer in the U.S. Air Force; 2.5 GPA; fulltime student; meet Air Force standards for physical fitness; pass an Officer Qualifying Test; and be medically qualified.
Value: full tuition, fees, $900/year textbook allowance, and up to $500 per month taxfree allowance during academic year
