Aid Programs
Other Personnel Services (OPS)
OPS is state-funded and is not based on need. To be eligible, students employed by UF must have at least a 2.0 GPA and be enrolled for at least six credit hours per semester. Average earnings are generally the same as for work-study jobs. The total hours students can work and the amount earned will depend upon the hiring departments budget and need. Students must report OPS income on their aid applications the following year. To apply, students should go to SFAs Student Employment window in S-107 Criser for a work permit and to check jobs.ufl.edu for job postings.
