UF Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships
The following endowed scholarships and fellowships are administered by the UF Foundation. For information, check with the departmental contact person or the Foundation Web site.
- T. A. Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: outstanding students completing thesis/dissertation in experimental physics; awarded for excellence in research.
Value: approximately $500
Non-Endowed Scholarships
- Charles F. Hooper, Jr., Memorial Awards
Eligibility: senior graduate students in physics who have shown distinction in research and teaching.
Value: $250 awarded annually - J. Michael Harris Student Memorial Awards
Eligibility: students with interest and research in Institute for Fundamental Theory.
Value: $3,000 - Physics Teaching Assistant of the Year
Eligibility: excellence in teaching laboratory classes and discussion sections.
Value: $100, normally two awards
