UF Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships
The following endowed scholarships and fellowships are administered by the UF Foundation. For information, check with the departmental contact person or the Foundation Web site.
- Steven C. Crebbin Memorial Award
Eligibility: high school graduates from Monroe County or South Dade County.
Value: $3,200 distributed among awardees - Howard Sebold/Herrick Smith Fellowship in Landscape Architecture
Eligibility: leadership, scholarship, and potential professional distinction.
Value: $1,500

American Society of Landscape Architects Annual Scholarship, Jacksonville Section
- Architects, Florida Chapter Graduate Awards
Eligibility: professional potential and technical achievement.
Value: $2,500 distributed among awardees - Thomas Cottingham Berry Scholarship Award
Eligibility: students with need who show professional potential and technical achievement, preferably with a background in the “green” industry in Florida.
Value: $750 award - Foster Conant Scholarship Award
Made possible by the Central Florida Builders Exchange/Frank Reed Endowed Fund. Eligibility: excellence in detail design and a GPA of 2.5 or better.
Value: $400 distributed among awardees - Florida Chapters of the Federation of
Garden Clubs, Grants, and Scholarships
Eligibility: local chapters throughout the state offer financial assistance based on demonstration of need; apply to chapter.
Value: varies by chapter - Landers-Atkins Planners Award
Eligibility: deserving graduate students in
professional planning in any of the following
areas: private land development, community
planning and redevelopment, landscape
architecture, and urban design and recreation.
Value: $1,200 - Jodie Rabb Memorial Award
Eligibility: graduate students pursuing a degree in landscape architecture.
Value: $400 - Rain Bird Award
Eligibility: accomplishments in water conservation through irrigation design.
Value: $1,000 - Harold Sebold Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: current or incoming graduate students with leadership and potential professional distinction.
Value: $1,340 - Jonathan and Elizabeth Seymour Award
Eligibility: recognizes graduate or undergraduate students who wish to participate in the Paris study abroad program; must have financial need and participate in the program.

- Lucinda Selva Award
Eligibility: students in good standing who will not graduate before summer B and will attend either the State or National A.S.L.A. conference.
