    The MCCTS is a competitive program for qualified Florida residents that is awarded on the basis of financial need, academic merit, and other selected criteria. Criteria include academics, character of the applicant, whether the applicant has been awarded other scholarship aid, race, as well as a variety of other factors.

    Application: Applicant must provide a completed 2008-09 application form; a current official (not a photocopy) transcript from the community college; a statement of your career goals, achievements, and activities; three letters of reference addressing your academic success and potential; and a completed 2008-09 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To receive full consideration, the FAFSA should be mailed no later than June 15, 2008. Need and need/merit applicants only.
