    Federal Academic Competitiveness Grants (ACG)

    The ACG created by the Higher Education Reconcilliation Act (HERA) of 2005, is a federally funded undergraduate program. Eligibility includes:

    1. being a U.S. Citizen, a Federal PELL Grant recipient
    2. completion of a rigorous high school program
    3. graduation from high school after January 1, 2005
    4. and full-time enrollment in a two- or four-year degree program.
    5. students in their second academic year must have obtained a college cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0.

    Awards range from $200 to $1,300.
