In light of the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Irma, the University of Florida is reaching out to all UF students who may have financial issues related to the storm.
UF and the Office for Student Financial Affairs (SFA) is very concerned for your well-being and is here to assist you during this time of crisis. Should you have any financial-aid related issues or concerns, please contact the Office for Student Financial Affairs to discuss financial aid options that might be available to assist. For additional information and the application to apply for emergency funds, visit the Aid-a-Gator webpage.
If you have applied for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and financial need has been determined for you, your eligibility for financial aid may be reevaluated, based on your special circumstances and may include additional grant funding. If you have not completed a FAFSA and are in financial crisis, we may still be able to help you with emergency financial assistance.
SFA can be reached by telephone at (352) 392-1275 or if you are in the Gainesville area and are able to come in, the office is located in S107 Criser hall and is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday.
