2017-18 Bright Futures Scholarship Program Award Amounts Update

Financial aid award packages with revised amounts for the 2017-18 Bright Futures Academic Scholar Award have been posted at https://one.uf.eduONE.UF. The predicted Florida Academic Scholar Award posted for eligible students is $3,491 per term (fall 2017 and spring 2018) and includes 15 hours of 100% tuition (and applicable fees) plus a $300 educational expense stipend. The actual amount students receive will be calculated after the Drop/Add period of each semester. Determination of eligibility for Bright Future awards is made by the Florida Department of Education.

The Bright Futures Scholarship Program award amounts for the 2017-18 academic year are as follows:

Florida Academic Scholars
Florida Academic Scholars will receive an award amount equal to 100% of tuition and applicable fees. This includes summer funding. Applicable fees include: activity and service fee, health fee, athletic fee, financial aid fee, capital improvement fee, campus access/transportation fee, technology fee and tuition differential fee.

Florida Academic Scholars will receive an additional amount of $300 per semester (fall and spring only) for college-related expenses.

Florida Medallion Scholars (Per Credit Hour)
• 4-Year Institutions ($77)

The additional stipend for Top Scholars shall be $44 per credit hour.
