Students generally receive financial aid by direct deposit
or by mail from University Financial Services (UFS) in S-108 Criser Hall--after
classes begin and as soon as their aid is available. Before disbursing
your aid UFS verifies your enrollment status and makes sure you have no
financial or academic holds. All unpaid tuition/fees, housing charges,
and other UF debts (e.g., lab fees, infirmary charges, and library fines)
are deducted from your financial aid before disbursement.
Direct Deposit of Aid to Your Bank Account by UFS
To sign up for Direct Deposit use UF's ISIS system on the Web at: www.isis.ufl.edu
. Go to ISIS, under "Services" choose "Financial Information,"
then choose "EFT Signup." Authorization takes two
business days. For more information, contact UFS in S-108 Criser Hall.
Mail Disbursements For students who have not signed up for direct deposit, UFS mails
financial aid checks directly to students local addresses after classes
begin and as soon as their aid is available. UFS mails Federal Direct
PLUS Loan checks directly to parent borrowers after verifying the student's
enrollment.
