You must "accept" your loan funds before they can be disbursed to you. Use ISIS to accept, reject, or reduce loan amount(s) offered to you as soon as you receive your financial aid award.

• At ISIS, go to Financial Aid, then choose "Awards and Disbursements" for the correct year.

If you don't yet have a Master Promissory Note (MPN) on file at SFA, before you can receive a loan you must complete a Federal Master Promissory Note. A federal PIN is required to complete the online MPN. If you have difficulty, come to SFA's Student Resource Center in S-107 Criser.

First-time Federal Direct Stafford Loan (FDSL) and the Federal Perkins Loan borrowers MUST complete an orientation session before their loan can be disbursed.

• At ISIS, go to Financial Services, Entrance Counseling, Direct Loan
• Perkins borrowers are mailed information from University Financial Services about completing online entrance counseling.
