When you complete the FAFSA by UF's "On-Time" Financial Aid Deadline, you are applying for all aid programs administered by SFA, including the following:

  • SFA Scholarships: Awarded based upon academic merit and financial need.

  • Grants: Federal Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, ACG, National SMART Grant, Florida Student Assistance Grants, and Turner Grants.

  • Loans: Federal Perkins Loans, Federal Direct and Unsubsidized Stafford/Ford Loans, University of Florida institutional loans.

  • Work Programs: Federal Work-Study, OPS, Off-Campus Jobs, and Co-op Education.

Other Sources of Aid:
Financial assistance is also available for UF students through the following agencies: UF Admissions Office, Florida Prepaid Tuition Plan, Individual UF Colleges, the State of Florida, and outside scholarships and loans. If you apply for aid through SFA and also receive an award from any of these sources, you must notify us immediately.
