- Student and one parent should individually obtain an FSA ID using http://fsaid.ed.gov/http://fsaid.ed.gov/. You must have an FSA ID to complete a FAFSA.
- Students can complete and submit their 2023-24 FAFSA as early as, but not before, October 1, 2022. Although you must be accepted for enrollment at UF before you are considered for financial aid, you should apply for aid before being admitted.

- Begin requesting letters of recommendation for scholarship applications.
